Our team are highly experienced in the collection of environmental samples including: water, sewage, soils, sediments, rock and vegetation samples. We can even undertaken prolonged sampling regimes of sewage and water using auto-samplers which can take days or weeks at a time.
Alongside conventional soil surface scrapes we routinely take soil cores using a golf-hole corer which is particularly useful for dating purposes or field instrument calibration. Recently our sampling methods have gone beyond terrestrial, given ERL now has access to a boat courtesy of the Globolakes project allowing for coastal-shelf, estuarine, river and lake environments to be explored.
